OMHA Meat Draws

Wonderful News - we have had two volunteer coordinators come forward to head up the meat draws for this spring/summer season, Barb Letendre and Nancy Arlinghaus.  We did vote at the AGM to discontinue the meat draws due to lack of volunteers, but these ladies have stepped up and we have had a lot of volunteers want to start earning their volunteer fee credits back for next season.  The executive felt that with the renewed interest and the amount of money that the meat draws were bringing in for the association that we needed to open this up as a fundraiser again.  We have amended this motion to allow us to continue on with the meat draws with these volunteers over the summer months and then the meat draws will be brought forth at the September association meeting for an association vote.

The new Volunteer Fee that was brought forth at the AGM this month has been voted on and passed by the association members that were present, this fee replaces the concession fee/ fundraising fee together.  You will be required to work off the same amount of hours as before, but now you will be able to choose if you wish to work them all in the concession or all with fundraising events that OMH chooses or with a combination of the two.

So get your name into Barb or Nancy and start working off those hours towards your next seasons Volunteer Fee.
